About Me

Lauren Howe is a photographer who believes that photos have the power to capture a moment, convey emotions, and tell a story. Her passion for photography started at a young age when she began taking pictures at her brother's little league games. Now, as a sophomore at Western Kentucky University majoring in photojournalism with a minor in marketing, Lauren has expanded her skills and knowledge in various photography styles, including sports, landscapes, and portraits.

Her dream job is to work for National Geographic or a professional sports team, as she wants to be able to travel and see the world while capturing unique and diverse perspectives. Lauren's photography has already been recognized locally, winning a Photography Contest for Owensboro Parent Magazine in 2020. Her work was featured in their April/May 2020 issue, showcasing her talent and creativity.

Aside from her passion for photography, Lauren attends Living Hope College Ministry in Bowling Green, Ky. and is a college ministry leader. She serves in the Living Hope Kids Ministry on Sunday mornings with third and fourth graders as well as fifth and sixth graders on Wednesday nights. When she's not behind the camera, Lauren loves to hike, playing pickleball, and hanging out with friends.
